Lexington Elementary School Counseling
Our mission for the students at Lexington Elementary School is to provide all students with a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program. Our program is centered around a caring, creative, and collaborative learning environment. Advocacy is our primary role in order that we may ensure the life-long learning success of our students and help them develop International Baccalaureate attributes and attitudes of responsible citizens in a global society.
Career Education at LES:
Purpose:
To provide a monthly emphasis of career awareness, career clusters, and schools of study.
To promote understanding of relationships among personal qualities, skills and interests, education and training, and the world of work.
To support the International Baccalaureate (IB) mission to develop active, compassionate and lifelong learners.
To provide a foundation for becoming productive citizens.
To invoke change with the total student population by increasing Career Awareness exposure.
