May 19: Career Vehicle Day
Career Vehicle Day was held on Tuesday, May 19 from 8:00 am – 10:15 am. Presenters brought their career related vehicles and presented valuable real world information about their jobs to kindergarten, first, and second grade students. We had an SCE & G Bucket Truck, Concrete Truck, MRAP, SLED SWAT Truck, Lexington Councty Marine Boat, Kona Ice Truck, Tow Trucks, Crime Scen Investigation Truck, Fire Truck, and a Race Car! LES students loved getting a hands on experience sitting in the vehicles and learning how the vehicle helped our Career Speakers with their jobs.
