May 21: Career Speaker Day
The LES Guidance Department ihad a successful Career Speaker Day. Career Day was held on Thursday, May 21st from 8:15am – 10:00am. Presenters shared valuable real world information about their jobs to groups of third, fourth, and fifth grade students. Career speakers shared their talents and interests with our students,including such things as interesting stories, how school related to their job, what kind of education is needed for the job, and if they used any special tools or technology. It was a great learning experience for our students and an opportunity for our presenters to have a positive impact on our students and their future.
