January Learners of the Pride
Congratulations to our January Learners of the Pride! LES Learners of the Pride are chosen from each homeroom because they exhibit the International Baccalaureate Attributes and Attitudes. This past month we focused on IB Attribute: Communicator and IB Attitudes: Independence and Confidence. These students were selected because they listen and express ideas confidently and have the courage to take risks. They apply what they have learned and make appropriate decisions and choices. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students got to enjoy lunch and conversation with the University of South Carolina Spirit Coordinator, Erika Goodwin! She was happy to share how she and her student cheerleaders have to be independent and confident. We appreciate Mrs. Goodwin for taking her time to speak with Lexington Elementary students!
