December Learners of the Pride
Congratulations to our December Learners of the Pride! LES Learners of the Pride are chosen from each homeroom because they exhibit the International Baccalaureate Attributes and Attitudes. This past month we focused on IB Attribute: Reflective and IB Attitude: Appreciation. These students were selected because they are reflective about learning and how they act. They appreciate the wonder and beauty of the world and it's people.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students got to enjoy lunch and conversation with Lexington Town Councilwoman Kathy Maness! She was happy to share how she appreciates education, her family, and her job as Executive Director of the Palmetto State Teacher’s Association:) We appreciate Mrs. Maness for taking her time to be with Lexington Elementary students!
