Helping Homeless Veterans

Congratulations Lexington Elementary for making the Student Council Stuff the Stockings for Homeless Veterans a HUGE success. Together we collected almost 3,000 (2,925 to be exact) personal care items!!! The grade level that collected the most items gets to wear pajamas to school on Thursday, watch a special Holiday classic at lunch, and eat a Candy Cane. Our 4th graders won this competition by collecting 943 items! 5th grade came in a very close second with 825 items. We want to thank everyone for participating, because in the end, it's our Veterans that win with such a caring school helping them out
